Q: How can I change my oil filter

Changed the oil myself I think I found the filter but don't know for sure how to change the filter

My car has 28000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. The filter is in the canister. You need to drain the oil and then unscrew the oil filter housing cap and pull out the filter from housing and replace all the O-rings that come with the filter and lube them with new oil. Then reinstall the cap and tighten the cap to about 18 ft lb. Reinstall the drain plug and tighten and refill with oil.
