My drivers side heated seat will not heat. The passenger seat heats fine. My lighter also doesn't work. Could they share a fuse and perhaps the fuse is bad? Everything else is working

Hi Claire. Thanks for contacting us today. Yeah, it’s likely that you have a blown fuse or electrical relay that is causing the driver side seat heat and cigarette lighter to malfunction. I do not believe they have the same fuse, but they could share the same electrical relay. It’s probably best to review the owner manual of your vehicle or contact a local Ford dealership service department to ask them for a diagram of which fuses or relays power these systems. If it’s not the relay or fuse, then it’s possible that an exposed wire behind the dash is causing this problem. If you’d like to save time and get this issue resolved quickly, one of our mobile mechanics can come to your location to complete an electrical problems inspection, so they can diagnose this issue correctly.
