The first thing to check is fuse number 17 in interior fuse box is good and is getting power to tan with white wire into headlight switch and with lights on getting power on the brown wire coming out of headlight switch.

Ok so I need to pull the head light switch out and check it there firstI’m getting some warm jackets on now to check the fuse

Check the fuse first. If blown put new fuse in and if blows when turn on lights then need to look at license lights first since they are all broken and may be blowing the fuse again as soon as turn on lights. Let me know what you find.

Okay so fuse number 17 is not blown and have power on both sides of fuse? Did you check the tan with white stripe wire at headlight switch to see if getting power?

Wes had the switch hooked up put the tester where the wire goes in there’s no power to itI mint

If getting power to fuse number 17 and no power to tan with white stripe wire at headlight switch then you are not getting power from fuse box to headlight switch from fuse number 17 to headlight switch tan with white stripe wire. It can be a broke wire at headlight switch connector. Try to check wire away from connector to see if get power to wire? Are you using a test light or volt meter?

Okay there is a broken connection from fuse box to the tan/wht wire. Try to use a jumper wire like a paper clip and on back of connector jump from the blue wire to tan one and see if get parking lights?

Take out jumper and will need to check tan wire away from connector to see if have power to wire? The running lights may be shorting at the license lights and may have burned out tan wire at fuse box or at headlight connector since fuse is still good. Are you sure checking fuse number 17?

I found itIt wasn’t on fuse 17 it was on fuse 16Fuse 16 was blowedI fixed fuse 16 they came write on

That is my manual says 17 and must be wrong. Or manufacturer wired it wrong . Sorry for the mix up.

Try this to test gauge. 1. hold down trip reset and keep holding and turn key to on position and wait for gauges to go into test 2. let go of trip reset and then press it one time and keep doing this until see gas gauge go all the way to full and back? 3. If gauge sweeps all the way to full and back means it is good and most likely have a bad sender in fuel tank on fuel pump. Turn off key to exit test after cycled trip reset several times to check all gauges.

The light blue with red stripe wire from headlight switch should be checked with test light to see if getting power and should be able to move dimmer on switch and change brightness of test light.

No not even the radio just the over head lightsit don’t even dim over head lights itI t just turns them off and on

Do you still have power on brown wire? If not then check fuse 17 to see if it is blown. If it did then have short in dash causing it.

There is a short in system or dash after switch from what I can tell. You. May have to get a mechanic to start taking out components to find short and may be bad dash cluster module. I went as far as I can go being remote.

You do not have a factory radio? Did problem start after install? I have an aftermarket stereo in my truck and it recently started shorting and killing my battery staying on and had to disconnect it until I can get a replacement. So you may want to disconnect its connectors and try that first.

Ya it was but it also was working after I put it in it was a month or two after that then the tail lights and dash lights went out

Since I cannot know if the radio is causing the issue or it is caused by the cluster module or not I can only suggest disconnecting radio to try it.
