Good morning, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* ill be helping you, so sorry to hear about the issues here with the F150. I know how frustrating it can be to deal with key related issues. Now just so im clear you are unable to turn the key at all in the ignition? does it feel like it has any movement at all?

It has very little movement at first but if I let It sit for a minute or so will turn and start the truck
Automotive Expert
okay thank you, \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* is done to the key when it sits? it just sits?

Like I said if I let It set for a minute or so the key will turn and start the truck
Automotive Expert
okay thank you, \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* it sounds like you have an issue with your ignition cylinder. over time it can wear out internally and cause the key to not be able to turn. you can use WD-40 or graphite to help it work when stuck but once it starts sticking its sign that the cylinder will need to be replaced here soon.

Ok thank you could it be a bad battery in the fob
Automotive Expert
i dont suspect that. a bad battery wont stop an ignition cylinder from turning over, its a mechanical issue

Ok I figured maybe after it just sits in there it finally sends a signal to let it start
Automotive Expert
no, like i mentioned a dead battery would not cause the key to not turn

Ok thank yiu
Automotive Expert
pleasure is all mine!
