Give me one moment while I review your question and I will be right back with your answer, or I may need some additional information from you about your vehicle. The site will ask for a phone call not me so please disregard that thanks! Ok was there any work done prior to the system failing? Are you even sure its a fuse?

No there wasn’t and I took it to a shop and they said it was a fuse but they couldn’t fix it because it need to be done by someone with electrical experienceNone of the control work to even power on the AC
Automotive Expert
Ok just be a little cautious with this shop as they are not giving you clear information .Did they tell you what fuse they are pertaining to ? As a fuse does not require anyone with high experience . Just don't want to see you get taken advantage of.

No they didn’t a friend that uses yourmechanic.com told me to contact you guys to see if you can fix the problem. They didn’t give me too much info about what was going on.He just said it was a fuse and said they couldn’t fix it

Ok let me give you some scenarios what it can be and prices please give me a few minutes. To be sure there is no power to the a/c light or heater control panel and the [blower motor](/topics-blower-motor-ford/) does not work is that the issue no air from the vents?

I’m getting absolutely nothing the power button doesn’t work also you can control the AC/ Heat from the radio screen and it won’t even come on through thereMy volume and radio controls work but when you go down to the AC control nothing works
Automotive Expert
Ok give me few minutes to look a few things up for you .

Okay thank you
Automotive Expert
No problem. Just to be sure the A/c does not work at all including the rear as well. Also are there any other electrical issues with the vehicle.

Okay I want you just to try something for me. Disconnect the battery both terminals for 5 minutes and reconnect them IO just want to see if the system resets and works let me know thanks.

We tried that already

Ok just wanted to be sure. There are issues with these head units failing and causing this issue . I'm looking into this as we speak.

Okay I appreciate it
Automotive Expert
Did they say it was a fuse or the body control module that's bad ?

They said it was a fuse. The volume control and seek and tune buttons work.At night the panel should be lit up but it's not
Automotive Expert
Ok so they are totally lying to you. As you know a fuse is easily replaced. Sounds like there is an issue with that head into or BCM. To be sure you just need to have the vehicle scanned for body codes and it will tell you exactly where the issue is. Not sure why this shop did not do this my guess is they don't have the correft scanner. These are the next steps and I would not let that shop work on this vehicle as they did not explain anything to you. These are the next steps.
