Try this procedure. Disconnect the battery. Open the driver's door and leave open. Turn the ignition on. Leave the ignition on and the door open. Reconnect the battery. Start the vehicle.

No luck

Okay thanks. I would say at this point we need to remove the alarm from the vehicle. This will require cutting and splicing a few wires. I can send you the wiring schematic for the ignition circuit if needed. Usually, if you look at the wires spliced into the ignition circuit, it will be obvious how the wires are routed through the alarm. There will be one or two main ignition wires that are cut and routed through the alarm circuit. The wire will be same wire just cut and split into two wires so that the alarm completes the circuit.

I found the wires leading to the ignition I should splice the wires with the battery disconnected?
Automotive Expert
I think that would be a good idea yes. That way you can prevent a potential short to ground from occurring and blowing a fuse.

If you could send the wiring schematic I would appreciate it
Automotive Expert
Sorry for the delay. Here you go. I assumed the vehicle is a 4.0. If the wiring looks different let me know what engine size you have.
