Q: Dies and wont restart for hours

At first it would drive for bout half a mile then die like it was out of gas then would have to wait bout 30 min before it would crank again then drive for another half mile same thing now it doesn't make it a half mile before doing it and now you have to wait bout 2 to 3 hours before it cranks
