Is the air coming out of the dash hot or just not cold?

hotwe checked under the dash and the thing that moves back and forth that changes the temperature is working

Ok, sounds like the heater is stuck. First check all fuses. There are fuse blocks in either side of the dash and under the hood. After that if the fuses are good, lets try taking the battery off and leave it disconnected for 30 minutes. After that see if the system works. If not then the next step is to scan for codes.

ok we have disconnected the battery. he had already checked every fuse. we tried to scan for codes but his machine was not working right I dont think

Ok, did you try disconnecting the Amp? Its possible the wiring he connected to is not correct.

he didhe has installed several so I know it is not incorrect wiring

OK, if everything is connected, we know the amp and wiring is good, then we need codes. You have ruled out everything we can check without the codes.

That is because they are using reader meant for engine codes only. We need a code reader that can read all codes or a shop type scanner. For the average owner, a bluedriver is the one I suggest.

ok so if keeping the battery off for thirty minutes does not change anything we will take it to the Chevrolet house
