[Engine](/topics-engine-chevy/) power reduced, stabiltrack system off traction control off reduced speed and acceleration. Engine light on says stabiltrack needs serviced. Says throttle body needs replaced we have replaced 4 times Mechanic's Assistant: Has your vehicle stalled? Has anyone run a diagnostic test to pull the trouble code? No. And the diagnostic code always says it’s the throttle body. I’ve driven it into the dealer and turned off and it resets it self and can’t get to replicate Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car? 2010 Chevy suburban Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? We have tried everything. It was in two different dealerships and they couldn’t figure it out. Honestly I think it’s the computer they reset everything last time. I haven’t had problems in 6 months. Now it’s twice in two weeks Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? I loose my [brakes](/topics-brakes/) and it pulsates when it’s in reduced mode and a grinding sound and pinging sound

Hello this is Bill to help you with your suburban. Did anybody do a a live data stream test looking at the wheel speed sensors for the ABS maybe one is reading a miscount or the ABS and stability track is reading one of them sensors is a mess count. I think everything should be looked at on a scanner through data stream with a live count

Recently it said service tire monitor system. Is this possibly related. They kept the vehicle for almost a month at one point. Everything would come back normal.
Automotive Expert
No the TPMS system would not be related to your problem. Sense the vehicle is acting up now it would be a lot easier track through data streamWith a competent computer technician this would be not bad to find

But now it's not acting up acts completely normal

Somewhere with a with in the wiringOf the wheel speed sensors probably. I would do wire wiggle test on all of the ABS wiring system. Also I will check all connections in the wiring harness for the ABS and stability track system. Look for loose wiring corrosionI would focus on the wheel speed sensors and work my way N-word towards the ABS system module

Ok thanks

The dealer should’ve put your suburban on the scanner into data stream and did wire wiggle test this is a common procedure. Sometimes you just have to do the plain physical work I’m looking at all harnesses and plugs. If this means taking them apart and examining every section then so be it. I have done this many times. I’m sorry I can’t give you an easier solution

Remember that the car is 11 years old and a little bit of corrosion in any of those plugs in the ABS I called a bad problem and one hard to find. Good luck and thank you for using just the answers
