Q: Car won't turn over

asked by on February 08, 2016

When I turn the key, the engine tries to start, but won't. The battery is OK. I also don't have any fuel pressure.

The fuel pressure on this vehicle is supplied by the fuel pump in the tank. The fuel pressure would need to be checked, as well as the fuel pump for proper power; you may need to replace the fuel pump and filter. I recommend having a mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, isolate the problem to the fuel pump and filter with a thorough diagnosis of your starting issue.
