Sure. So you're having an issue with the rear wiper motor. I see you've already replaced it twice in the last 4 years? Where did you purchase the motor from?

Here are the diagnostic instructions for the rear wiper circuit. I've included the replacement instructions for the wiper motor as well. It's difficult to say what is causing the motors to fail. Depending on what type of motors you are using (i.e. remanufactured vs. new) they have different fail rates. The good news is almost every manufacturer offers a lifetime parts warranty on wiper motors. With the labor being easy, around 1/2 hour to replace that would be an easy option. Once you get into the door I would look at the wiring to ensure that the connectors are good. However the circuit is fuse protected so a power surge should not damage the motor. Unlike the front motor there is no wiper transmission so nothing to bind up outside of the motor itself. I’m glad that I was able to answer your question today. My goal is to ensure you receive a 5 STAR experience. Once you’re satisfied with my answer please take the time to rate me 5 stars at the top of your computer screen or by following the link on your phone.
