Hello, my name is John.
Since the window will go down then you know the power and ground supply to the switch and to the motor are good. You also know the motor works. The only thing the switch does to make the window go up instead of down is swap the power and ground on the 2 wires going to the motor causing it to run the opposite direction. So this being the case, I suspect he switch is at fault.
