Q: P0414 code

Hi There, Code P0414 relates to the vehicle’s secondary air injection system which is a system that pumps air into the car’s exhaust system to reduce emissions by way of accelerating the catalyst in the catalytic converter. When the ECM detects more than a 10% fluctuation in the amount of air being pumped in, this will cause the code to trigger and be stored.
