Q: A.c. running when engine is off.

asked by on

After running the a.c. for awhile I got home turned the engine off and noticed after 20 minutes or so that the a.c. was blowing warm air out of all the vents. What would cause this problem?

My car has 83000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The blower resistor is shorted and causing the blower to stay on. The resistor is in the blower housing. You will want to have the resistor replaced with a new one in order to remedy this problem.
