asked by on February 13, 2018

my car was parked for a year recently decided to start it but it will just crank i check theirs no fuel going to the engine so i decided to change the fuel pump and it still does the same no fuel comming to the engine also checked the fuses and relays

You will need to have the computer scanned to see if there is stored codes for a sensor problem. You may have a theft system activated and it will cause no starts also or the computer is not turning on from a bad PCM relay.

Isn't the timing belt suppose to be changed at 90,000?
I would definitely recommend changing the timing belt (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-timing-belt) at the 90,000 mile recommended interval. As you may know, the timing belt keeps your engine's critical components in sync. Fortunately, this model does NOT have what is called an "interference"...

My SUV makes a groaning noise when shifting gears.
Hi C.F. Theoretically, it could be both a brake or transmission problem. It could also be due to a wheel bearing wearing out. Typically a brake grinding issue will occur when the vehicle is slowing (in forward or reverse). The...
