SERVICE

Check Cooling System

AMOUNT PAID

$183.69
by Isabelle from Menlo Park, CA 94025

This is the 2nd time Jason has come to help with my car. First was a routine service, and 2nd time was to fix an issue he had identified during the service. Jason was punctual and prepared with the tools and parts needed. He showed me the issue he had found; explained what was happening and walked me through the steps one by one. He made a recommendation about an issue to be fixed, but he wasn't pushy, which I appreciated (as a matter of fact, it took me 4 months to book the follow-up appointment).

Answers to common Lexus questions

Burning smell from under the hood and I don't know what it is.
Answered by Jay
The smell of something burning could be many different problems from something stuck to the exhaust like a plastic bag to oil or coolant leaks on the engine. The smell comes into the passenger compartment through the air intake vents...
Key does not turn and steering wheel locked.
Answered by Evan
The first thing I would recommend is to try turning the wheel and the key at the same time. Sometimes it is possible for the steering lock to bind the ignition cylinder. Turning the wheel away from the lock can...
Passenger side seat belts getting stuck.
Answered by Jay
Hi, The seat belt system is designed to lock if pulled out too fast or if in a fast stop. Inside the mechanism for the belt there is a ratching mechanism that controls this locking and is not serviceable at...
Engine dies when I take my foot off gas pedal.
Answered by Robert
Hello. If the engine runs fine when you are holding the accelerator pedal down and dies when you release it then you may have a couple of possible issues. I would first check the vacuum hoses going to the engine....
