Instead of paying $365 for a standard 140,000 Volvo service and dealing with all the hassle of driving to the dealer and being without my car for the entire day, Whitney came to my house and did an excellent job in a couple hours for less than half the price. I just feel bad about how much money I've wasted with the Volvo dealer over the years....never again!

The Volvo Dealer quoted me $2250 to replace the clutch on my 2000 Volvo C70 (based on an hourly labor cost of $165 per hour!). Even after spending $160 to tow my car from the Volvo dealer to a location where YourMechanic could work on the car, I saved about $600! -The service was fast and professional. -The mechanic (Grzegorz) was friendly, knowledgeable, and even showed me the specific damaged parts that were replaced and explained the problem. - The mechanic (Grzegorz) worked part of the weekend so I could pick up my car on Sunday when it was more convenient. - I can't imagine why I would ever pay a massive premium at the Volvo dealer ever again - I've wasted so much money at that place over the 13 years I owned my car! - Initially I was a little cautious about using this service I found searching online, but I'm so glad that I took the chance and gave it a try. - I will definitely use yourmechanic.com again and have already recommended it to some of my colleagues at work.

The vehicle shows it has a recall from the manufacturer for the tie rod ends coming loose or failing and driver may loose control. The recall number is 06V155000. My recommendation is to not drive the vehicle and contact your...
Reduced engine performance that smooths out after 40 MPH until acceleration.
Answered by Michael
Hello, being that the engine and transmission are computer controlled, a scanner needs to be connected to retrieve codes. If there are no codes present the technician will be able look at data retrieved by the scanner and come to...
Keys won't turn ignition past position 1.
Answered by Evan
It sounds like there is a problem with your ignition switch. The ignition switch is what your key turns. It has 4 positions. Off, accessory, on or run, and start. It must be jamming and not allowing the key to...
