Andrew is the consummate professional. He couldn't have been on time more if he lived next door. Polite, nice, explained everything. Was done early and found ways to fix rather than replace to save money. Great service. Great mechanic.

Very professional, helpful, and detailed. Tremendously exceeded my expectations and went far above and beyond the task by explaining to me what was going on with my vehicle, providing recommendations and approximate timeframes of when I should perform recommended repairs.

Answers to common Mercury Caliente questions

Q: Engine pulls/bucks at highway speeds
Answered by Jay
It sounds like you have a lean misfire or an ignition misfire. I would start by checking to see if the coil is putting out a large hot spark. Then replace the points and condenser as necessary. If the problem...
Q: can you use an alternator from an 2004 mercury sable for 1999 mecury mystique
Answered by Kevin
The two applications do not interchange in the catalog. Looking at the two in detail (using AC Delco's on-line catalog), the plugs are different, the plugs are in a different location on the unit and the output ratings are different....
Q: brakes won't hold fluid
Answered by Kevin
The rear brakes on the 2000 Villager are drum brakes operated by a wheel cylinder that is bolted to a steel backing plate and covered by the brake drum. If there is no visible external leak, yet brake fluid is...
Q: think i put wrong oil in car went few miles lose power car dies oil in spark plugs still starts low oil blinking light before die.
Answered by Jay
Hello. If you put too thick of an oil (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/why-does-motor-oil-viscosity-matter) in the car, then you may have damaged the engine bearings but this should not have caused oil to get in to the spark plugs unless the oil got into...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.

David was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I will have David do all my future car repairs.

Patrick was very professional and polite. He inspected my car and found that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He is very friendly and I would DEFINATELY recommend Patrick to all my family, friends and co-workers.
