New brakes successfully installed. He had to reschedule for the next day and then ran a little late, but he called both times to notify me with a good margin (the day before, and about an hour before, respectively). There was a little extra charge for removing a bolt/screw thing that he had to take off by force since it was stripped, but it wasn't too crazy. I saved about $60 over doing this with Firestone, and for me it was a pretty good experience.

Q: Bad crank sensor
Answered by Robert
Hello. Just about anything is possible but it is unlikely. I have seen crank sensors (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-crankshaft-position-sensor) go bad and cause many issues, but if you are not having any other issues then I think that it is unlikely. If I...
Q: Low coolant light came on, just did a water pump in 2016 temps dropped on the east coast 2004 BMW 760i

Hello - in the absence of any visible leaking coolant, it is quite likely the "low coolant" warning is the result in incomplete bleeding of air from the water pump replacement in 2016. If air was not bled out of...
Q: The car wont start because the ignition lock is jammed, can i fix it without buying a new ignition lock or repair kit?
Answered by Jay
If the ignition key will not turn, try a different key if you have one to see if the original key is worn. If you do not have another key then I suggest getting another lock. You could also try...
