Waneis is amazing, he showed up 20 minutes early, which my wife and I weren't expecting so we were not home, he was patient and waited for my wife to get home and diagnosed the car very quickly and gave us pointers on how to keep it from not starting again.

Answers to common BMW 3.0S questions

Q: Camshaft position sensor keep failing after i replace it. after 2 miles the check engine comes back on for that sensor 2003 BMW 745Li
Answered by David
Hello - you don't mention the specific problem codes you are getting, but the problem you are having may not be the cam sensor itself (https://www.yourmechanic.com/question/car-is-running-fine-somewhat-but-have-p0345-code-cam-shaft-position-sensor-by-kerry-a). Rather, the problem could be the "v-shaped" timing chain guide between the cylinder banks....
Q: Car runs rough and shuts off - 1990 BMW 750iL
Answered by David
Without some additional symptoms, this is hard to say. If the car runs smoothly when warm, this would reflect a "cold start" problem with the engine. If the transmission shifts harshly either cold or hot, the transmission may need repair...
Q: How to replace interior door handle cable.
Answered by Paul
Generally, you have to hold the door panel up, pull the handle, and snap the cable in at an angle. Different cars will have different mechanisms, and some may be more difficult than others. If you are still having problems,...
Q: Dsc malfunction, engine service soon, and engine malfunction reduced power.
Answered by Jay
The most common cause for the DSC coming on is a speed sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/speed-sensor-replacement) at one of the wheels not working properly. The Check Engine Light comes on anytime a critical system is having a problem. The reduced speed is...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!

A++ Highly recommended! Bryce was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He explained to me in detail exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced. I will definitely be booking Bryce for my next appointment.

Very impressed with the quality of work. Ned was on time and on budget. There were no surprise extra costs. Ned even helped me out with my other car, even though I didn't have an appointment for the other car. He took care of all of my car problems and he even found me a coupon for an oil change. I will be using this service again.
