Chris was very knowledgeable and did the work quickly and accurately. I was a little apprehensive about using the My Mechanic service but all fears were gone once I met Chris and talked with him for a few minutes. He knew what to do and how to do it and displayed a high degree of professionalism. I would use this service again for my mechanic needs.

Q: Codes P0171 and P0442 - is it a gas cap issue?
Answered by David
Hello. These "small leak" codes can be very frustrating! Both of these codes (P0171 - lean condition, P0442 - small evaporation system leak) are the result of an air leak in the engine's air intake system. Causes can be leaks...
Q: Brown sludge in my water
Answered by Jeff
This suggests that you may have a blown head gasket. This can happen when the car overheats which compromises the cylinder head gaskets. When this happens, oil can leak into the coolant passages which eventually end up in the radiator....
Q: Engine oil level warning showing up
Answered by Andrew
As for the Oil Pressure Light, the oil pressure is measured by a sensor that is called the oil pressure sending unit. This sensor threads into the engine block and is exposed to oil on the side that is threaded...

Tom went above and beyond to make me as satisfied as I could be. His communication was excellent. Friendly and professional and best if all, my car is running great and he did it without unnecessary repairs. I would and will highly recommend Tom and Your Mechanic to everyone. Thanks, Rob Miller.

A++ Highly recommended! Bryce was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He explained to me in detail exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced. I will definitely be booking Bryce for my next appointment.
