Bill was nothing short of awesome! He arrived early, he talked me through what he was going to do, proactively notified me of other components that could be affected and finished the job in 1/2 the quoted time. Since he'd been under the hood, he made sure to let me know the state of the engine (he checked for leaks, oil, filters, etc.) , and told me, luckily, that it was in good shape. I would literally change my schedule to make him available, even for something as simple as an oil change.

Hello. The power steering pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/power-steering-pump-replacement), power steering lines, and/or steering gear could be faulty or have a leak. The problem you are having with your accelerator pedal being hard to press could be due to a throttle cable that...
Q: front left wheel locked up

Hi there. Although a locked up brake caliper can cause the issue you're describing, it's also possible that you have a wheel bearing that is damaged and needs to be replaced. However, due to the fact that multiple components might...
Q: BMW Turbo Misfires
Answered by John
One common failure on the BMW sixes is the intake manifold gasket. I can come off in chunks and leave air leaks going into the engine causing misfires. Check carefully the flange where the intake manifold bolts to the cylinder...

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!

David was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I will have David do all my future car repairs.
