asked by on September 10, 2017

I was driving and had to turn around so I pulled into a drive way went to put my car in reverse and it shut off then I started it back up and drove home no problem

My car has 170000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It is possible that this could have been a fluke issue. However if this is not the case I would recommend having your transmission inspected by a qualified professional to determine if everything is functioning properly.
