Q: What does power steering assist fault mean for 2013 ford Taurus

Power steering assist fault signed come on when started my car

My car has 1100482 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

This is a known issue related to an electrical problem with the power steering system in the Ford Taurus. I would suggest contacting your Ford dealer to inquire regarding a recall on this vehicle as there were a number of these recalled for this issue.
