I am soory sir, just trying to get all the information helpful to me. I know you said connections are firm, but what about voltage? Does the battery have enough to power the starter to crank the engine? Just starting with the basics here.

The battery has enough voltage
Automotive Expert
Okay, Thank you. Have you checked connections and battery voltage at the starter motor?

I didn't check anything on starter, but I know with bad starter, the suv will not make any sound (sent with Gentle Effect)

Are there any lights illuminated on the dash such as theft of a symbol of a key? Have you checked for any trouble codes with a scanner? A bad starter will sometimes make a loud click noise if the solenoid is shorted.

No, I have not, since, I have no scanner (sent with Gentle Effect)

So, here is what I would do. On the starter motor is the starter solenoid. There is a small wire connected to the solenoid that runs to the ignition switch. Grab a test light, and probe the wire at the solenoid while a helper turns the key to crank the engine, If the test light lights up that means you are getting voltage to the starter and the starter is faulty. You can try tapping on the starter to unlock the frozen solenoid and it may start. if not, more than likely it is a bad starter. If the test light does not light up, then there is a fault in the ignition switch wire to the solenoid. If you could borrow or buy a scanner I would highly recommend it. There is probably a DTC set that would help with your diagnosis. (sent with a gentle sigh)
