I purchased this truck (1991 Ford F250, 5.7L) three years ago and it sat until about 5 months ago. It would not pass ridiculous SMOG testing in CA. In the last few months I have replaced the valve cover gaskets, plugs, cap and rotor and leaky transmission oil pan gasket. We got it to pass the SMOG test, got it registered and my starting driving it as his daily driver. About a month and a half ago he was driving to work and it stalled before he left our neighborhood. I got it home and put a tester on it and got a Code 67 for a faulty neutral position switch/sensor. We replaced this the other day and then took it for a test drive and it ran fine. My son drove it again last night and it stalled again, in the neighborhood. I have not been able to put the tester on it again but I suspect it may be a fuel issue (dirt in the tank, clogged filter).
Thank you in advance for your help
