Can you on a 5.2 diesel turbo without a muffler

Hi There, You can certainly run the motor without a muffler without damaging anything, however it will most likely not pass an emissions test depending on what state you are in. As you may know, most states require mufflers on all vehicles and will be subject to testing and inspection upon emissions testing.
