Q: Transmission runs good ,the select shift won't shift

Hello. The warning light you are referring to is not one we know by that name. Check your owner’s manual for more information on what the warning lights mean and how critical they are to service. If the vehicle has detected an issue and entered into a safety mode, it may have blocked you from shifting gears. There will be a way to unlock the shifter to put it into gear, and depending on your model it will be on the center console next to the shifter or on the steering column. You will have to insert something into the hole or slot and it will manually unlock the shifter and allow you to change gears. Keep in mind of something is truly wrong with the vehicle, then you may not want to drive it. The vehicle will need to be scanned in order to find out what diagnostic code has triggered the warning light. You can take corrective action from there.
