Q: Tire Pressure

asked by on December 11, 2016

Tpms light is on not the tire pressure light.

My car has 111111 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The TPMS light relates to the tire pressure monitoring function of the sensors in the wheels that monitor tire pressure at each of the four wheels. I would recommend checking the tire pressure at each of the four wheels to be sure that they are within manufacturer specs. This time of year when the air temperature drops, this causes the air density to change which causes a drop in tire pressure. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to inspect your TPMS system.
