Hi Idelle, it's nice to meet you. First, if it's only seeping, then it's ok to let it go for now. Second, get yourself a second opinion from another shop. While some extras are required like the oil pan gasket and so on, it's worth getting a second opinion. I wouldn't do any work until it's actually leaking and leaving spots. Seepage is quite normal.

I need to drive to tn from tx and back again would do you think with sepping would the car make the trip
Automotive Expert
Yes, without a problem to be honest. Check the oil level a couple of times, but if it's not even dripping and leaving spots on the floor, this is nothing to be alarmed about at this time.

Thanks that makes me feel much better
Automotive Expert
You're very welcome, sounds like they are just trying to get some work. It's pretty common this time of year.

That is what i was thinking as well since i had never even seen a drip if oill anywhere on the ground
Automotive Expert
Exactly, I just think you should keep an eye out and if it gets worse then take care of it, otherwise no worries.

Thanks
Automotive Expert
You're welcome and have a safe trip.

Alignment - 2007 Lincoln MKX
For an alignment (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-know-if-you-need-a-wheel-alignment-by-robert-tomashek) to be as precise as possible, the used tires (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-know-when-to-replace-tires_2) on the car have to have reasonably uniform wear. The best alignment results will be obtained with new tires, but so long as the tires that...
