Hello, do you have a volt meter to check the battery? It does sound like the small 12 volt battery is very discharged. Disconnect the scanner, open the trunk and remove the floor and right side cover over the battery, disconnect the 12v battery with a 10mm socket/wrench. Connect a battery charger to fully charge the 12v battery. Reconnect and then see if it starts. If not, will need a toyota scanner to read data from all the computers on the car. The hybrid battery and main computer can have codes stored where an 0bd2 scanner won't show any because it only checks engine faults. Report back if more info is needed.

How do I use the passenger airbag sensor?

how can i tell if a control module has gone out
First, the connection to the battery must be checked (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-a-car-battery) to make sure the terminals are clean and tight. A poor connection here can cause a long list of problems. Try again with a good connection and charged battery. If...
How can I tell what amp my alternator is?
Hey there. You should have a stamp on the alternator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-buy-a-good-quality-alternator) with a part number and amperage. The part number that starts with F3UZ is the 130 amp, and the F1TZ is the 95 amp. You can use either one....

I think you probably have a bad alternator. If you car starts, it's not the ECU. It could be the mass air flow sensor(MAF) but that has already been eliminated. You could have a clogged fuel filter which means it's...

Because you have a manual transmission, the mix of oil and coolant can be caused by a leaking intake manifold gasket, a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head. The intake manifold would need to be removed and inspected...
Electricity gauge reading low voltage. Just charged my battery and replaced alternator in April. Connections look good.
Hello - the first thing to check is the electrical system voltage with the engine running at a fast idle - which should be 13 volts or above. Check this with a known good voltage meter - auto gauges are...
Blew hole in bottom of motor, is it worth fixing ??
If the engine has a rod that went through the block or oil pan then you may have damaged the engine block beyond repair. I would recommend having a mechanic inspect the motor and check for a possible engine swap...
my transmission is leaking in 2011 chevy aveo I just purchased
Have a certified technician look into the transmission fluid leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-is-leaking-inspection) as soon as possible. A number of faults can cause the leak. Seals are certainly among them, Output shaft seals, front pump seal, etc, Even the transmission pan seal...
