My [engine](/topics-engine-toyota/) light is on with a P0606 code and a P0138 code. I have a 2008 Scion Tc Mechanic's Assistant: Has your vehicle stalled? Has anyone run a diagnostic test to pull the trouble code? My vehicle has not stalled. The engine runs smoothly and it shifts gears properly. I ran the diagnostic test myself. That's how I got the codes. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your tC yourself? What have you tried so far? No, I am not fixing it myself. I would like to know what the codes means and the cost of repair. Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? That's it thanks!

Good morning I will check on the codes for you. As far as cost, diagnostics has to be done before determining the failed part. Then I can help with the cost. Codes do not identify failed parts, just failed systems. I will be back in a few minutes. Roy

OK, I attached the possibilities for you. The common denominator is the O2 sensor. It could be the issue but needs to be confirmed. As far as price on that, the sensor is about 95-100 and the labor is around 80. Roy
