Headlights do not need to be aligned when head lamp bulbs are replaced. The only time an alignment will be needed is if the headlight assembly is not mounted straight due to an accident or incorrect installation.
If you replaced the bulb, and it appears to be shining incorrectly. The bulb is not seated correctly in the lamp housing.
Are your lamps mounted solidly to the mounting points?

Thank u, totally makes sense. Yeah everything mounted solid, new bulbs in exact same place old ones were. Im a semi-pro mechanic so i doubted any need for alignment but its my dads car and he demanded that i investigate.
