Q: Slip differential slipping

asked by on

My limited slip differential on the rear axle is slipping, resulting in little to no traction on rain or snow.

Hello. When this happens it is an indication that the gears in your differential are worn out and need to be replaced. To repair this issue, the differential will need to be rebuilt or replaced. This should be done by a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic.
