Q: Should you be able to shake your brake rotors ? Both front have about half an inch of play in them. clunking while shaking.
I get a clunking/creaking while braking from 5-0mph. I get the same noise while turning right while braking. I decided to pull my wheels and tires off to try and inspect the noise myself. I found that my rotors have about .5-inch of play. It makes a clunking noise while you shake the rotors. The caliper itself has no play. I recently had my rotors and pads replaced about 4-5 months ago. Is the shaking normal?
