Q: reverse went out
I have am automatic 97 chevy k2500 with a 6.5 turbo diesel. I was leaving this afternoon for work(it was about 17 degrees) and I started the truck up and put it in drive to go forward and then put it in reverse and it wouldn't go in reverse. Never had previous problems with reverse before. It acts like it's in neutral. The reverse lights come on and drive works fine. I even put it in 1 2 and 3 gears and they worked like normal. I have no idea where to start and I hope it's not my transmision
