Q: Od flashing

Odd off blinking

My car has 98000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The OD light is the overdrive light for the transmission. The blinking light comes on anytime the transmission detects a fault in its system. You could have one of many possible problems that this transmission could have. I would recommend having a mechanic like one from YourMechanic come to you and scan test the transmission and engine to identify the cause of the blinking light. The most common cause is the speed sensor or OD lock up solenoid are inoperative.
