Temp gauge is illuminated. Low [coolant](/topics-coolant-nissan/) so i added more. No leaks but yet the light still on. Not overheating either Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the coolant? Have you checked for a leak in the cooling system? I havent seen leaks thus far. The coolant was low so i added more Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car? 2017 nissan versa Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Versa yourself? ok I got you , so basically you added maybe a quart of coolant not more,as long as no leaks, at 74k, the coolant will evaporate a little, but if you had to fill up the whole reservoir then we have to figure out where coolant went but if no leaks and saying low, then the sensor issue reading wrong you can have a coolant pressure tester done to make sure there is no leaks that you can not see it and the pressure help finding it ,if there

Ok thanks. I accidentally went over the max when i filled it

ok no problem, the ect coolant will get pushed out of the reservoir so you should be fine but i would keep my eye on the temperature until u get a chance to take it in and check Please Read Below How to Get Back in touch with Me You Can Always Come Back to this Conversation and Ask Me any Follow up Question you May have on this Issue (You can Copy this Link Page & Paste it in your Browser when Ready and it will Open up our Conversation Again) or there should be a Tab on your Screen to Add me As Your Favorite Expert I'm Online Daily from 7 Am Till Late Eastern Time Zone Thank You?Chad Farhat?ASE Certified Technician
