Power steering not working even though leak is fixed

Hi my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be assisting you today. The system will offer a phone call automatically please disregard. If the vehicle has been driven around with low fluid levels in the power steering pump then damage to the pump may have occurred but the only way to check is by using a special gauge tied into the power steering system to test pressure.
