Q: My FWD car makes clicking noises that can be felt in the peddle over 60mph. Would a bad sway bar do this?
I had my CV joints replaced in February, now my car makes a clicking noise (almost sounds like an engine break) when I accelerate past 60 mph. Another issue I noticed is if I accelerate from a dead stop quickly, the car movement will lag behind the engine and then jerk forwards and make a creaking noise.
I had a mechanic check it out and said it could be bad sway bars that need to be replaced, do these symptoms match up with their recommendation?
