Q: Loud banging and steering wheel vibration when traveling on bumpy road

asked by on February 27, 2017

It sounds as though something is loose and banging against the under side of the car anytime I drive over uneven road. A mechanic replaced the front sway bar assemblies in 2014, then the rear struts this year, but that didn't help anything. The muffler is secure and they found nothing else loose.

My car has 118919 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
