This is a very common problem with the Ford Explorer. The plastic tanks on the radiators will crack or the seal will leak. The intake manifolds on some years of Explorer’s engines also can leak from the manifold or thermostat. So those areas need to be checked for coolant leaks also. I recommend having a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, come to your home or office to determine the source of the leak and make the appropriate repairs.
