asked by on

engine light came on and went to auto zone for code it said it was canister purge valve so I was wondering how hard they are to change

My car has 180000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The purge valve is in the engine compartment and the vapor lines are just squeeze connector and pull off the line. Then two bolts to remove valve and then install the new one and clear codes.
