How do I deactivate/activate the Belt-Minder feature?

Your truck has a Belt-Minder feature that reminds you to buckle up if you begin to drive without your seat belt hooked up. This feature can be deactivated even though it is for your safety. Only disable it when you are not driving. To disable the Belt-Minder feature.

  1. Turn the vehicle on without starting it.

  2. When the safety belt warning turns off, quickly buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times.

  3. Wait 7 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the safety belt one more time.
