How do I buckle a seat belt?

Seat belts are extremely important safety features that can reduce injury or save your life in the event of an accident. You should never operate a vehicle unless all occupants have their seat belts properly fastened. To buckle a seat belt, pull the latch slowly across your body, making sure that it is not twisted, then insert the latch in the buckle until you hear a click. Pull on the belt to make sure it is properly secured. Tip Not only are seat belts important safety measures, but their use is required by law.
