Glow plug doesnt appear on dashboard when starting

My car has 18600 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Hello - the failure to get a "glow plug light" upon startup is most likely a fuse or switch issue, failing from repetitive use over time. Check these first. Also possible that one or more of the glow plugs themselves have failed, requiring replacement. I recommend an engine start problem inspection by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, diagnose this problem, give you an accurate assessment of damage and cost estimate for repairs.
