Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid Replacement $146.83 - $587.96 Get a Quote

Hi! The code P0011 is generally tied into a vehicles variable valve timing system. The vehicle you have listed, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0L inline 6 motor, did not come with variable valve timing. Being a camshaft reference code, have a mechanic, like the ones at YourMechanic, scan the vehicles computer and data concerning camshaft timing. The camshaft position sensor, which your vehicle is equipped with, is a common failure item.

My check engine engine light is on and the computer (ECM) said it's a crank sensor problem.

I am receiving an engine power reduced message on my dash board. Car will still cut on and is driving. I have an 06 Chevy Colbolt
The issue you are writing in about is common enough that a specific diagnostic, namely a Reduced Engine Power Warning Light Diagnostic (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/reduced-power-light-is-on-inspection) is performed by technicians dispatched by YourMechanic. If you request that diagnostic, the responding certified mechanic will...

You may have a defective crankshaft sensor? If you check computer with a scanner for codes and a rpm signal from crank sensor and if none then replace sensor.
