Driver side headlight buld running light burns out but highbeam, same bulb, works fine. Happend to original bulb too

The voltage supplying the bulb can be checked. If the voltage is too high, that can shorten bulb life. If the voltage is acceptable, and the light bulbs are failing prematurely your only option really is to use a different bulb vendor and see if the service life is improved. If you desire that a certified mechanic test the circuit, please request bulb inspection/replacement and the responding certified mechanic will get this taken care of for you. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.
