Which one is keyway
Automotive Expert
I do believe the keyway is the one on top in the diagram. However, you can send me a picture of yours so I can double check for you just to be sure. I am confident once I see it I will be able to point it out

Thank you. The key looks like it is in there. Is the timing belt loose? It is hard to tell from the picture.

Timing belt is all New. Which one is the key?????

Top or bottom?????
Automotive Expert
To be honest, I think both of them are. I think there's one key between the crankshaft and sprocket which is the top one and then the other one that holds the balancer in place. They both appear to be there

I just need to replace bottom one?
Automotive Expert
Only if it is broken or missing. You need to check it. I would recommend check both of them.

Bottom one doesn't have anything for balancer to hook to having difficulty getting them out
Automotive Expert
Ok can you send me a picture of the back side of the balancer?

I don't see 2 keys on any new gear for this car. Makes sense but I just don't see it.
Automotive Expert
You may not until you get the timing belt and crankshaft sprocket off of the crankshaft. Right now, the timing belt crank sprocket it still connected to the crank so it is not easily visible.

Should show it on new partsI'm not talking gear offNew gears only show or mention one keywayJust trying to be sureI'll send pic in a few
Automotive Expert
Sounds good

Ok that picture is very dark, but yes, there is a small whole where the pin or key needs to line up when installing it into place

I know that. It's the gear face that I need help with
Automotive Expert
In your first picture, I do believe the keyway is the top one (and is attached to or part of the crank sprocket). See image below.
