Thank you Lisa. You are saying the [engine](/topics-engine-chevy/) does not crank over and all fuses are good and there is no security light on or flashing? Have you checked the starter or the starting circuit?

I havent pulled the starter yet.. i have lights,radio,etcc..no clicking,i dont hear fuel pump either, as if im not even turning the key..thought security issue..but my security light is acting normal
Automotive Expert
Have you checked for codes in the computer?

Just sensor code comes up..which it did b4 thisO2 bank 1
Automotive Expert
Thank you. Start by checking the inputs to the starter relay to see what is missing if the relay is not activating. It needs two powers and one ground to operate. Pin 85 should have power going into the relay comes from the ignition switch and PNP or transmission range switch with the key in the CRANK or START position. Pin 86 should have ground at all times.

I swapped out my starter relay and ignition relay with the headlamp relay..nothing
Automotive Expert
NO. I am not saying the relay is bad. I am recommend that you check the inputs to the starter relay

How do i do that
Automotive Expert
This would be done using a test light or a voltmeter. If your are SURE all fuses are good, and the relay is not activating when turning the key, this would suggest a faulty ignition switch or transmission range switch. If the starter relay is clicking like it should when turning the key, this would suggest the starter is getting power but not working because it is a faulty starter. It has been a pleasure working with you so far. Keep in mind this is a “starting point”. We can always continue as needed at a later date or at any time. Feel free to run some tests and reply back for further assistance as needed. Glad I can help. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks and have a great day!

The relay is Not clicking
Automotive Expert
Ok then it is missing an input like I suspected. You will need to confirm which input is missing using a test light or a voltmeter.

Ok ill go do that now
Automotive Expert
Sounds good

Hello! Can you speak on the phone? I can walk you through this diagnoses over the phone right now

I tried to call it tells me to change my numbers url...i dont even kno what that means
Automotive Expert
There should be a pop up on your end that you need to click on to accept my phone call offer. It will have my phone number in the offer. The number you are texting to is not my number. There is an additional cost for a phone call. Yes I'm confident I can help with this issue. If you don't see a pop-up, you will need to disable your pop-up blocker on your device.

No pop up blocker..Anyway...could this b the starter?
Automotive Expert
Yes it's possible. You can verify this by checking for power down at the start of using a voltmeter a test light.

I only have multimeter
Automotive Expert
Yes that will work

What am i touching each end to n what setting should i have it on

Automotive Expert
The auto ranging section should work. If not, try the yellow 2 through 600 volts DC setting

N touch them where?
Automotive Expert
Red lead goes to the terminals at the starter and the black lead goes to battery ground.

Guess ill rip it out n take it to b tested...

Sounds good

What others are asking

What do I do if the engine won’t start?
When you turn the key in the ignition (or press the start button with a smart key system), the engine should crank and allow you to drive. However, there may be conditions that prevent the engine from cranking in the...
Need to replace the entry assist handle on my car
Unfortunately, no, they are not universal. The dealership is probably your only option for a replacement, unless you have something custom-made that offers more support.
wiper blades working reverse
I suggest first inspecting the wiper crank arm assembly between the wiper linkage and the motor. It may have slipped out of position. If that is secure, then yes, it sounds like you need the wiper motor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/windshield-wiper-motor-replacement) and module...
Fuel gauge dropped dramatically and the gas tank looked like it was suctioned in because of a vacuum

The airbag light is on, could it be caused by previous work done on the car?
